Oktoberfest Blumenau was created in 1984 to cheer up the people of Blumenau after huge environmental disasters in the city. Thirty-six years later, Blumenau and the world are facing one of the biggest pandemics in history, Covid-19. In order to help the city's economy and tourism (which is really strong), and to remind people of the feeling of hope and overcoming, we created a special edition of Oktoberfest Blumenau. We used the slogan from the first edition, "Come visit Blumenau, after all, everything is Alles Blau," and we also did online and offline actions involving tourism and the economy. Above all, we aimed to bring joy to people during that difficult moment.
CONCEPT
The Vila Germânica is honored in the visual identity, where the famous enxaimel architecture is beautifully drawn. The blue and white elements bring the feeling of the Bavarian Oktoberfest, which has been a big inspiration for Oktoberfest Blumenau since its inception.
